EXPERIENCE & THE EVOLUTION OF "GAY TRAVEL MAPS"

For over 32 years, Alan Beck has published, designed and printed Maps and Fun Travel Guides for the LGBTQ community. Awarded for contributions to travel and LGBTQ awareness in Canada, The United States and South America, Alan continues what he started with FunMaps® and has grown into an international travel authority with Fun Travel Guides. In 2022, when the Florida governor introduced "Don't Say Gay", Alan decided to take a stand! He briefly changed the name of Fun Travel Guides into GAY TRAVEL MAPS.  It is now back to Fun Travel Guides.

Alan is a recognised gay Pioneer, he has openly fought for LGBTQ rights for many years. This name change was a significant statement.  As Alan puts it... "We've gone gay .. & YES, we will say gay!"

PRINTED GUIDES

In the last 5 years, Alan has published Fun Travel Guides, digitally for over 36 destinations. From printed guides to digital, mobile friendly web maps and now, an ad free easy to use app allows users to access all 36 destinations right from their mobile device. Printed map/guides can be found at your favorite attractions, in bars, hotels and welcome centers
